TrendsetterVIDEO(021)I'm tired of watching catwalks :) As Autumn approaches, every brand organize a catwalk for its new collection. I don't really understand why they spend so much money on it; everything is black and brown... I'm very pessimistic for this season, every collection looks like the same and nothing impressive! Be ready for a colourless and boring winter guys, I'm sorry...
Sunday night we were invited to Fashion Tv Party at Sortie. They did live broadcast on 202 country.
Those are the frames published in our last issue. The project is photographed by Nejat Talas. I did the styling!!! Believe it or not, sometimes I can be creative... Here is the proof!
The idea came suddenly when we were sitting and doing nothing but talking in the office. I called Nejat and then, some of my pr friends for sneakers. The day after, we were shooting the project. Sometimes it's good to act spontaneously, as we did in here... Don't you think?
Finally I finished my 2005 Autumn/Winter article. Here are some tips for the coming season: Lots of baggy skirts, coats... We're going to used to see capes, boleros and extremely mini coats on the street. I wished this season to be more colourful! Unfortunately, BLACK is the must colour in every collection! And in the second place comes the GREY. What a pitty! As you can see in the pics, terra cotta colours are also in demand... Here is the visuals of top brands and some looks that I chose for you...
Today I got an e-mail from our September wardrobe, Serra. She wrote an ironic journal about her first visit in our office. Unfortunately that's in Turkish...
"Benim ilk Trendsetter ziyaretimdi. Ofisin ve insanların sıcaklığı konusunda Zeynep’ten brief almıştım ama gardıroba çıkmak gerektiği için tarzımız bozulmasın diye yeterince ferah giyinememiştim.
Zeynep’in bir bardak soğuk su getirmesiyle ferahlayacağımı zannederken, tarzımı sorgulayan sınav soruları karşısında hem makyajım zarar gördü hem de psikolojimJ
Üstelik Zeynep bunca yıllık Trendsetter olmasına karşın, beklediğim yaratıcı kopyaları veremedi (boşuna babana bile güvenme dememişlerJ)
Sonunda gardırop sınavından geçemeyeceğimi anlayıp kaytarmaya, mızmızlanmaya ve tüm şirinlik numaralarımı kullanarak “yarın ya da pzt. kuryeyle göndersem noolur” demeye başladım. Tabii ki bu isteğim gardırop departmanı başkanı sevgili Hande tarafından onaylandı ve bende milletin alay konusu olmaktan (şimdilik) kurtuldum…
Zeynep, Ayşe ve ben (derin ve sosyal içerikli!) sohbetimize devam ederken, çaktırmadan sabahtan beri aç olduğumu anlatan satır arası laflarla Ayşe’yi bana kraker sunmaya mecbur ettim… Ama dergiyi ilk kez ziyaret eden her kibar insan gibi “yo canım sağol, yemeğe gidicem ben şimdi” gibi gereksiz incelikler yaptım.
Zaman ilerledi ve fotoğraf çekimine geldi sıra. İşte o an Hande, Zeynep ve benim bittiğimiz an oldu. Ofise sıcak derken Dubai’ye beş kalan hava koşullarına sahip en üst kattaki boş daireye gittik.
İtiraf etmeliyim ki fotoğrafçımız Can, Hande ve Zeynep benim doğuştan gelen fotomodellik yeteneğim karşısında şaşırıp kaldılar ( MY GOD! BORN TO BE A MODELJ)
Bende iyice havaya girip havalara sıçramaya, verebileceğim en iyi pozu bulmak adına saçma sapan hareketler yapmaya başladım.
Ama bu kadar aktivite beni yormuştu ve artık gitme zamanı gelmişti.
Bir sonraki ziyaretimin hayalini kurarak tüm. Klimalı bir ortamda buzlu kahvelerimizi içmek üzere sözleşerek Trendsetter ekibine veda ettim.
NOT: Klimalar takılmadan ya da yaz bitmeden dergiye misafir olmayın…Yok ben umursamam, şeker miyim ereyecek miyim gibi bir anlayışa sahipseniz vakit kaybetmeden Şişli’ye giden bir arabaya atlayın…"
Today we got lots of fun in the office. Cihan, our photographer was back from holiday and visited us. As you can see in the pics, he spent all day photographing the office life.
Whilst working for influential magazines such as i-D and Elle, Georgina Goodman realised that what she really wanted to do was create. With this in mind, she did MA courses in Royal College of Arts and in December 2002, she opened her shoe store in the heart of Mayfair. A bit of sunshine and sea... Here I am, in better mood. In the morning, I crossed the Bosphorus to participate Nike's press launch, in Aijia Hotel. To be honest, I adored the new collection. In the picture below you can see my favorites. I couln't decide yet which one to buy, the white one or the black??? Hopefully, I have to wait until September when they will be available in the shops...http://www.nikewomen.com

Two days of showers. Nothing to do... No wish to do anything... Guess I'm in depression! Still, I'm working on my new season collections article! Hope to send you some interesting stuff, tomorrow...
